Raise your voice for those living with PI
IDF health access advocates serve as the local voice to media and government officials and play a crucial role in advocating for legislative issues related to primary immunodeficiency (PI).
As a volunteer, you will work with IDF staff to schedule in-district meetings with government officials and maintain communication with IDF's public policy division. You’ll build relationships with the local media in order to submit IDF op-eds, letters to the editor, and pitches that promote or oppose legislation. You will also attend community events and maintain accurate records of your interactions. The time commitment is approximately 5-8 hours per month for at least one year.
